Trooper Daniel L. Laubacher Memorial Education Lab

4 months before Dan's untimely passing, he and I began working on this project together. Our dream...to combine the Ohio Troopers Dare/Watch Program Danny worked on and my educational STEM Program.

Together we shared many conversations, thoughts, ideas, and laughs planning this vision. After his passing and many months of family healing, I woke up in the middle of the night with an idea. I won’t stop. I won’t give in. With the support of the Laubacher Family and most importantly, Danny’s wife Jennifer, I continued our little project…but, I added a twist.

Saturday, May 13th, was the 3rd anniversary of Danny’s passing. Family and friends gathered in remembrance of Danny and his life. Unbeknownst to anyone, the entire P500R team were escorted by the Massillon Police Dept straight through town to Danny’s home and they were presented our complete lab dedicated to “Trooper Daniel L. Laubacher”! Family, friends, children and neighbors were in disbelief watching this unfold before their eyes and tears flowed the rest of the evening in joy and sorrow for our missing companion.

Patriot 500 Racing will uphold the values, integrity and honor of the man labeled on our lab and in our hearts where ever the road will take us.
