RACING Program
P500R sponsors a Day at the Track for individual and team sponsors. Free tickets are given to attend Summit Motorparks Raceway and participate in the day’s festivities and events.
Sponsors and donors are invited to visit us in the pits and learn what drag racing is about. The day is filled with fun, laughter, excitement, and speed!
Job fairs are held at venues around the state and we are proud to participate when we are asked to lend a helping hand. Emphasis is put on STEM research and the importance of continuing education that is needed to foster knowledge and develop new skills.
THE HIGH SCHOOL NATIONALS
The “High School Nationals” is a day that we are proud to be a part of and have volunteered at for the past 4 years. Teaming up with the U.S. Army, we support Summit Motorsports Park in a day devoted entirely to youth.
Adding the job fair component to this day gives students the opportunity to look into careers of interest. They also have the opportunity to spend a day at the track where they get to race their own street legal cars down the same ¼ mile track that every professional driver in drag racing has in the past. Prizes are awarded in events like the car cram, a smoky burnout contest, team spirit, and point races. Scholarships are awarded to the winner and runner-up. This tradition has been going on for over 25 years and we hope to be a part of this great day for years to come.
